RTCA Joint Special Committee 182/Eurocae Working Group 48; 
Minimum Operational Performance Standards (MOPS) For an Avionics 
Computer Resource

    Pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Committee Act (Pub. L. 
92-463, 5 U.S.C., Appendix 2), notice is hereby given for Special 
Committee (SC)-182/EUROCAE Working Group (WG)-48 meeting to be held 
September 9-11, starting at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will be held at the 
EUROCAE office--17 rue Hamelin, 75783 Paris, CEDEX 16, France.
    The agenda will include: (1) Chairman's Introductory Remarks; (2) 
Review and Approval of the Agenda; (3) Review of Meeting Report: Joint 
RTCA SC-182/EUROCAE WG-48 Meeting (5/12-14/98); (4) Review MOPS Draft 
1.2: Inclusion of comments 1, 3-5, 7-9, 11-13, 15-20, 22-24, 37, 39, 
40, 42; (5) Discuss and recommend for inclusion in draft 1.3: Comments 
2, 6, 14, 21, 35, 36, 41; (6) Portability and DO-178B objectives 
achieved independent of the platform; (7) Working Group Sessions: a. 
Complete comment 38; b. Chapter 2 sections; c. Chapter 3 sections; (8) 
Working Group Reports; (9) Other Business; (10) Date and Place of Next 
Meeting (12/09-11/98, RTCA, Washington, DC.)
    Attendance is open to the interested public but limited to space 
availability. With the approval of the chairman, members of the public 
may present oral statements at the meeting.
