Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bar From Turkey; New Shipper 
Antidumping Duty Administrative Review; Time Limits

AGENCY: Import Administration, International Trade Administration, 
Department of Commerce.

ACTION: Notice of Extension of Time Limits of Preliminary Results of 
Review.

SUMMARY: The Department of Commerce is extending the time limits of the 
preliminary results of the new shipper antidumping duty administrative 
review of steel concrete reinforcing bar from Turkey. The review covers 
one manufacturer/exporter of the subject merchandise to the United 
States for the period October 10, 1996, through June 30, 1998.

EFFECTIVE DATE: October 23, 1998.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Because it is not practicable to complete 
this review within the initial time limits established by the Uruguay 
Round Agreements Act (245 days from the last day of the anniversary 
month for preliminary results, 120 additional days for final results), 
pursuant to section 751(a)(3)(A) of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 
the Department is extending the time limit for completion of the 
preliminary results until April 30, 1999. See Memorandum to Robert S. 
LaRussa, dated October 16, 1998.
    This extension is in accordance with section 751(a)(3)(A) of the 
Tariff Act of 1930, as amended (19 U.S.C. 1675(a)(3)(A)).
