Take notice that on December 1, 1998, Northern Natural Gas Company (Northern), tendered for filing changes in its FERC Gas Tariff, Fifth Revised Volume No. 1. Northern states that the filing revises the current Stranded Account No. 858 Surcharge which is designed to recover costs incurred by Northern related to its contracts with third-party pipelines. Therefore, Northern has filed 46 Revised Sheet No. 50 and 51 and the 42 Revised Sheet No. 53 to be effective January 1, 1999. Northern states that copies of this filing were served upon the Company's customers and interested state commissions. Any person desiring to be heard or to protest said filing should file a motion to intervene or a protest with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE., Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Sections 385.214 and 385.211 of the Commission's Rules and Regulations.
