AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of public comment period.

SUMMARY: The EPA is extending the public comment period on the
supplement to the proposed rule for the Standards of Performance for
New Stationary Sources: Volatile Organic Compound Emissions from the
Synthetic Organic Chemical Manufacturing Industry Wastewater, which was
published in the Federal Register on December 9, 1998 (63 FR 67988).
The purpose of this notice is to extend the public comment period from
February 9, 1999, to March 5, 1999, in order to provide commenters
additional time to review the proposed rule.
DATES: Comments must be received on or before March 5, 1999.
