This meeting will discuss the upcoming 43rd Session of the Subcommittee on Stability and Load Lines and on Fishing Vessels Safety (SLF) and associated bodies of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) which is tentatively scheduled for September 11-15, 2000, at the IMO Headquarters in London, England. [[Page 11080]] Items of discussion will include the following: a. Review of results from SLF 42, b. Harmonization of damage stability provisions in the IMO instruments, c. Safety aspects of ships engaged in a ballast water exchange, d. Revision of the technical regulations of Load Lines Convention, and e.
