AGENCY: Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Treasury.
ACTION: Notice of open meeting of Citizen Advocacy Panel, Pacific-
Northwest District.

SUMMARY: An open meeting of the Pacific-Northwest District Citizen
Advocacy Panel will be held in Portland, Oregon.
DATES: The meeting will be held Saturday, April 24, 1999.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: Notice is hereby given pursuant to section
10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. (1988)
that an operational meeting of the Citizen Advocacy Panel will be held
Saturday, April 24, 1999, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Riverside Inn,
Columbia Room, 50 SW Morrison Street, Portland, OR 97204. Due to
limited conference space, notification of intent to attend the meeting
must be made with Deborah Diamond. Ms. Diamond can be reached at 1-888-
912-1227 or 206-220-6099. The public is invited to make oral comments
from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, 1999. Individual
comments will be limited to 5 minutes. If you would like to have the
CAP consider a written statement, please call 1-888-912-1227 or 206-

The Agenda will include the following: initial start up issues and
various IRS issues.
