AGENCY: National Archives and Records Administration (NARA). ACTION: Proposed rule; notice of public meeting; extension of comment period. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SUMMARY: NARA published a notice of proposed rulemaking to update the standards that records center storage facilities must meet to store Federal records in the April 30, 1999, Federal Register beginning at page 23504. We will hold a public meeting for all interested parties on June 18, 1999, to answer questions about the proposed rule. We will take notes of the discussion, and place the notes in the record for this rule making. We are also extending the comment period by one week to ensure that parties attending the meeting have sufficient time after the meeting to submit their comments. DATES: The public meeting will be held on June 18, 1999, from 10 a.m. to noon. Comments must be received by July 7, 1999.
