Transok, LLC; Notice of Petition for Rate Approval

August 5, 1999.
    Take notice that on July 23, 1999, Transok, LLC (Transok), 
submitted for filing a revised fuel tracker mechanism for its 
Traditional System. The revised method is intended to reduce year to 
year swings in the fuel percentage. Additionally, Transok states that 
the filing reflects a corrected classification of several of its 
compressors as transmission versus gathering. Transok proposes to 
reduce the current fuel percentage from 1.61% to 1.11%. Transok seeks 
an effective date of September 1, 1999.
    Any person desiring to participate in this rate proceeding must 
file a motion to intervene or protest with the Federal Energy 
Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, N.E., Washington, D.C. 20426, 
in accordance with Sections 385.214 or 385.211 of the Commission's 
Rules of Practice and Procedure. All such motions or protests must be 
filed with the Secretary of the Commission on or before August 12, 
1999. Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the 
appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make Protestants 
parties to the proceeding. Any person wishing to become a party must 
file a motion to intervene. Copies of this application are on file with 
the Commission and are available for public inspection. This filing may
