Notice of Meeting of the EPA's Children's Health Protection 
Advisory Committee (CHPAC)

AGENCY: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

ACTION: Notice of meeting.

SUMMARY: Pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee 
Act, Public Law 92-463, notice is hereby given that the next meeting of 
the Children's Health Protection Advisory Committee (CHPAC) will be 
held September 14-16, 1999, at the Baltimore Hilton, 20 West Baltimore 
Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. The CHPAC was created to advise the 
Environmental Protection Agency in the development of regulations, 
guidance and policies to address children's environmental health.

DATES: Tuesday, September 14, 1999, Work Group meetings only; plenary 
sessions Wednesday, September 15 and Thursday, September 16, 1999.

ADDRESS: Baltimore Hilton Hotel, 20 West Baltimore Street, Baltimore,

AGENDA ITEMS: The meetings of the CHPAC are open to the public. The 
Science and Research Work Group, the Economics Work Group and the 
Regulatory Process Work Group will meet from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on 
Tuesday, September 14, 1999. The Outreach and Communications Work Group 
will meet on Thursday, September 16, 1999, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
    The plenary session will begin on Wednesday, September 15 from 9:00 
a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday, September 16, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 
a.m. The plenary session will open with introductions and a review of 
the agenda and objectives for the meeting. Agenda items include 
discussion of economics questions and recommendations and reports from 
the other Work Groups. There will be a public comment period on 
Wednesday, September 15, 1999, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
