Concession Contracts

AGENCY: National Park Service, Interior.

ACTION: Proposed rule; extension of comment period.

SUMMARY: Notice was given in Part III of the Federal Register dated 
June 30, 1999, 64 FR 35516 to 35536, that the National Park Service 
proposes to amend existing regulations on concession contracts to 
comply with the requirements of Title IV of the National Parks Omnibus 
Management Act of 1998, and is soliciting written comments from all 
interested parties on or before August 30, 1999. However, it has been 
determined that it would be in the best interest of all interested 
parties and the United States to provide an additional period of time 
within which to submit written comments.

DATES: Written comments on the proposed rule must be received on or 
before October 15, 1999.
