Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company; Notice of Negotiated Rate Filing

September 30, 1999.
    Take notice that on September 27, 1999, Tennessee Gas Pipeline 
Company (Tennessee) tendered for filing a Negotiated Rate Arrangement. 
Tennessee requests that the Commission approve the Negotiated Rate 
Arrangements effective November 1, 1999.
    Tennessee states that the filed Negotiated Rate Agreements reflects 
a negotiated rate between Tennessee and El Paso Energy Marketing 
Company (EPEM) for transportation under Rate Schedule FT-A beginning on 
November 1, 1999 for a five year period.
    Any person desiring to protest said filing should file a protest 
with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, 888 First Street, NE, 
Washington, DC 20426, in accordance with Section 385.211 of the 
Commission's Rules and Regulations. All such protests must be filed on 
or before October 7, 1999. Protests will be considered by the 
Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will 
not serve to make protestants parties to the proceedings. Copies of 
this filing are on file with the Commission and are available for 
public inspection in the Public Reference Room. This filing may be
