Abstract: ATF 4 (5320.4) must be submitted to ATF to obtain approval for tax paid transfers of NFA firearms. Approval of a transfer and registration of a firearm to a new owner are accomplished with the information supplied on this document. The record retention requirement for this information collection is 3 years. Current Actions: There are no changes to this information collection and it is being submitted for extension purposes only. Type of Review: Extension. Affected Public: Individuals or households, business or other for- profit. Estimated Number of Respondents: 7,853. Estimated Time Per Respondent: 4 hours. Estimated Total Annual Burden Hours: 31,412.
