OMB Control Number: 2900-0510.
Type of Review: Extension of a currently approved collection.
Abstract: The data collected on VA Form 21-0571 is used to
determine whether children's income can be excluded from consideration
in determining a parent's eligibility for non-service connected
pension. A veteran's or surviving spouse's rate of improved pension is
determined by family income. However, children's income may be excluded
if it is unavailable or if including that income would cause a
hardship.
