            Sec. 1899A. independent medicare advisory board.

          (a) Establishment.--There is established an independent board 

        to be known as the `Independent Medicare Advisory Board' [Note: 

        Referred to as the ``Independent Payment Advisory Board''].

  Section 1899A was added by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care 
Act, as modified by the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 
2010 (P.L. 111-148; P.L. 111-152). The provision carried here is the one
