OPINION filed: Jackson’s claims may well fail under Michigan’s immunity statute for reasons similar to those that doom his § 1983 claim. However, because the district court did not analyze these issues in the first instance, we REMAND for further consideration consistent with the above conclusions. In light of this ruling and the district court’s previous decision to decline jurisdiction over Jackson’s other state law claim, the district court may reconsider the issue of supplemental jurisdiction in its discretion on remand; decision not for publication. John M. Rogers, Jeffrey S. Sutton (authoring) and Deborah L. Cook, Circuit Judges.
