WRITTEN Opinion entered by the Honorable James B. Zagel on 10/20/2011: The plaintiff's motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis #3 is granted. The court authorizes Cook County Jail officials to deduct $24.93 from the plaintiff's account, and to continue making monthly deductions in accordance with this order. The clerk shall send a copy of this order to the Supervisor of Inmate Trust Fund Accounts, Cook County Dept. of Corrections Administrative Office, Division V, 2700 S. California, Chicago, IL 60608. However summonses shall not issue at this time. The complaint on file is dismissed without prejudice. The plaintiff is granted thirty days to submit an amended complaint (plus a judge's copy and service copies) regarding his false arrest claim. The clerk is directed to provide the plaintiff with an amended civil rights complaint form and instructions. Failure to submit an amended complaint within thirty days of the date of this order will result in summary dismissal of this case in its entirety. Durkin on 5/16/2018:Mailed notice(srn, )MEMORANDUM Opinion and Order: For these reasons, the Court: (1) grants Dart's motion to dismiss without prejudice 113; and (2) denies Dawson's motion in opposition 117. If Dawson believes he can cure the deficiencies identified in this opinion in his claim against Dart, he may file a motion for leave to file an amended complaint on or before June 1, 2018. The motion should attach a redlined comparison between the current complaint and the proposed amended complaint, and it should be supported by a brief of no more than five pages describing how the proposed amended complaint cures the deficiencies in the current complaint. Should Dawson choose to file such a motion, Dart should not respond unless ordered to do so by the Court
