MEMORANDUM Opinion and Order. Signed by the Honorable Manish S. Shah on 6/29/2018: Defendants' motions for summary judgment, 69 and 72, are granted. The clerk shall enter judgment on the merits in favor of the defendants on all federal cled. (psm, )aims and the state-law claims for false arrest, malicious prosecution, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and defamation. The state-law claims for theft and conversion, as well as for negligence and respondeat superior, only to the extent they are based on a duty to refrain from taking property or the duty to inform patrons of casino rules regarding cheating at a gambling game, are dismissed without prejudice.
