REPORT AND RECOMMENDATIONS; Motion hearing held on February 15, 2018. Defendant was not present. Before the Court is Plaintiffs Motion for Default Judgment. Dkt. 20. On August 18, 2017, Plaintiff filed a complaint against Defendant alleging that it failed to make timely payments of contributions to Plaintiff pursuant to a Memorandum of Agreement signed by Defendant and Local Union No. 219. On October 10, 2017, the Clerk entered an order of default against Defendant for failing to answer or otherwise defend. Dkt. 12. It is this Courts Report and Recommendation that Plaintiffs motion for default judgment 20 be entered in favor of Plaintiff and against Defendant in the amount of $21,603.70. Any objection to this Report and Recommendation shall be filed by March 1, 2018. Failure to object may constitute a waiver of objections on appeal. See Provident Bank v. ORDER Adopting Report and Recommendations:Before the court is a report and recommendation (R&R) 23 from the magistrate judge that this court grant plaintiff's motion for entry of default judgment 20 in favor of plaintiff and against defendapala on 3/5/2018:mailed notice(pg, )ant in the amount of $21,603.70. Accordingly, there being no written objection to the magistrate judges R&R, see 28 U.S.C. ยง 636(b)(1); Fed. R. Civ. P. 72(b); Thomas v. Arn, 474 U.S. 140, 149-50 (1985), and the court having reviewed the record and the R&R, the court accepts the R&R and grants plaintiffs motion for entry of default judgment.
