ENTRY - Granting Motion to Amend Complaint, Screening Second Amended Complaint, Adding Defendants, Directing Issuance and Service of Process, and Denying Motion for Appointment of Counsel; The motion to file a second amended complaint, dkt. 23, is granted. The clerk is directed to file the tendered pleading, dkt. 23-1, as the second amended complaint. It is now subject to screening pursuant to 28 U.S.C. ยง 1915A. In addition, for the reasons explained below, Mr. Smith's second motion for appointment of counsel, dkt. 24, is denied without prejudice. The clerk is designated pursuant to Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(c)(3) to issue process to defendants (1) Correctional Officer Wilson, (2) Nurse Leslie, and 3) Ann Roberts in the manner specified by Rule 4(d). Process shall consist of the amended complaint, applicable forms (Notice of Lawsuit and Request for Waiver of Service of Summons and Waiver of Service of Summons), and this Entry.
