ENTRY Dismissing Complaint and Directing Plaintiff to Show Cause - Mr. Spry's false arrest claim, therefore, is dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted. This Court must abstain from interfering in the Jefferson Superior Court criminal action. To the extent Mr. Spry seeks the dismissal of that action, he must proceed through state court procedures. The plaintiff shall have through February 28, 2018, in which to show cause why this action should not be dismissed for failure to state a claim upon which relief can be granted and pursuant to the Younger abstention doctrine. See Entry for details. Signed by Judge Tanya Walton Pratt on 1/25/2018 (copy mailed to plaintiff).(LBT)
