ORDER AND REASONS that the Court finds in favor of the Plaintiff on the Plaintiffs claims of negligence and unseaworthiness; and, FURTHER ORDERED that Defendant United States pay Plaintiff damages in the amounts of $210,000.00 in economic damages and $750,000 in general damages, with interest on both awards accruing at a rate of 4 per cent per year from the date of the filing of this action; and, FURTHER ORDERED that the Plaintiff is awarded costs in this matter.
