ORDER AND REASONS DENYING IN PART AND DEFERRING IN PART 30 Motion for Extension of Time as set forth in document. IT IS ORDERED that plaintiff must respond in writing to the motion for summary judgment and provide thepreviously ordered responses to defendant's discovery requests no later than May 17, 2017. Plaintiff's response to the summary judgment motion should include sworn affidavits, including his own, or other evidentiary materials that set forth specific facts demonstrating that there is a genuine issue of material fact for trial in this case. If no response is filed by that date, the motion for summary judgment will be deemed unopposed. The motion is DEFERRED insofar as it seeks an extension of the discovery deadline. That part of the motion will be addressed as part of the court's overall assessment of all aspects of Fed. R. Civ. P. 56 when it determines the pending summary judgment motion.
