Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton: MEMORANDUM AND ORDER entered: Plaintiff's Motion for Leave to Proceed in forma pauperis (Docket No. 2) is GRANTED; All claims against the Social Security Administration (Maryland), the Social Security, Administration Lowell Office (Massachusetts), Assistant District Manager Robert White, and any other employee of the Social Security Administration are DISMISSED; The only defendant in this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 405(g) is Acting Commissioner Colvin; The Clerk shall issue a summons as to Acting Commissioner Colvin;The Clerk shall send the summons, a copy of the complaint, and this Memorandum and Order to the plaintiff, who must thereafter serve the defendant in accordance with Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 4(m). The plaintiff may elect to have service made by the United States Marshal Service. If directed by the plaintiff to do so, the United States Marshal shall serve the summons(es), complaint, and this Memorandum and Order upon the defendant(s), in the manner directed by the plaintiff, with all costs of service to be advanced by the United States Marshal Service. Notwithstanding Fed. R. Civ. P. 4(m) and Local Rule 4.1, the plaintiff shall have 120 days from the date of this Order to complete service. Plaintiff's Motion to Compel (Docket No. 7) seeking an Order to the defendant to provide a list of attorneys to represent him is DENIED. Plaintiff's request for appointment of counsel (contained in the Motion to Compel) is DENIED.(PSSA, 1)
