ORDER granting 16 Motion to Extend the Pretrial Motion deadline; as to John T. Ronan Jr.; Defendant Ronan's motion for an extension of time (Filing No. 16) is granted. Ronanis given until on or before July 27, 2007, in which to file pretrial motions pursuant to theprogression order. The ends of justice have been served by granting such motion andoutweigh the interests of the public and the defendant in a speedy trial. The additional timearising as a result of the granting of the motion, i.e., the time between July 13, 2007 andJuly 27, 2007, shall be deemed excludable time in any computation of time under therequirement of the Speedy Trial Act for the reason defendant's counsel requires additionaltime to adequately prepare the case, taking into consideration due diligence of counsel, andthe novelty and complexity of this case.
