MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER - The Court finds that the plaintiff George Glew has established, by a preponderance of the evidence, that he suffers illnesses from an injury suffered while in the line of his duty as a volunteer member of the Ambulance Company. These illnesses have rendered the plaintiff totally disabled as of December 20, 2004. Accordingly, the Court finds that he is entitled to payment by the defendant CIGNA for total disability benefits as set forth in the VFIS policy. To further determine these benefits, the Court directs the attorneys to be present at a conference/hearing to be held on January 5, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. (Ordered by Senior Judge Arthur D. Spatt on 12/30/08). (Coleman, Laurie)
