ORDER: The plaintiff is an inmate at the Warren County Jail in McMinnville, Tennessee. He has submitted a pro se complaint and an application to proceed in forma pauperis. A prisoner seeking pauper status must include a certified copy of the trust fund account statement (or institutional equivalent) for the prisoner for the 6-month period immediately preceding the filing of the complaint along with his application to proceed in forma pauperis. The plaintiff is hereby GRANTED thirty (30) days from the date of entry of this order on the docket in which to either pay the full filing fee or submit the certified statement from the custodian of his inmate trust account. ORDER: The plaintiff is an inmate at the Warren County Jail in McMinnville, Tennessee. It appears from his application that he lacks sufficient financial resources to pay the filing fee. Therefore, the plaintiff's application to proceed in forma pauperis is hereby GRANTED. However, process shall not issue at this time. The plaintiff is hereby ASSESSED the civil filing fee of $350.00. In this case, the defendants reside in or around Warren County. The plaintiff's claims arose at the jail in Warren County. Since Warren County lies within the Eastern District of Tennessee, venue for this action properly belongs in that judicial district. Accordingly, the Clerk is directed to TRANSFER this case to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee, Winchester Division at Winchester, Tennessee. The Clerk is further instructed to send a copy of this order to the Sheriff of Warren County to ensure that the custodian of the plaintiff's inmate trust account complies with that portion of the Prison Litigation Reform Act relating to the payment of the filing fee.
