Federal Register. Rules and Regulations. Final rule. Friday, February 3, 2012.
...This document amends the Commission's rules to facilitate more efficient and effective use by the Amateur Radio Service of five channels in the 5330.5-5406.4 kHz band (the 60 meter band). Specifically, and consistent with our proposals in the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking in this proceeding, the Commission replaces one of the channels with a less encumbered one, increases the maximum authorized power amateur stations may transmit in this band, and authorizes amateur stations to transmit three additional emission designators. The Commission also adopts an additional operational rule that prohibits the use of automatically controlled digital stations and makes editorial revisions to the relevant portions of the Table of Frequency Allocations (Allocation Table) and our service rules. ...Tables of thermophysical properties of nitrogen are presented for temperatures from the fusion line to 3500 R for pressures to 3000 psia, and from the fusion line to 1500 R for pressures above 3000 psia to 150,000 psia. The tables include values of entropy, enthalpy, internal energy, density, specific volume, velocity of sound, specific heats (C(v) and C(p)), thermal conductivity, viscosity, thermal diffusivity, Prandtl number, and the dielectric constant for selected isobars. Additional tables are included for values of PVT relationships which have special utility in heat transfer calculations. Tables of selected isobars for the liquid and vapor phases, and for the saturated vapor and saturated liquid are included. An equation of state is presented for liquid and gaseous nitrogen for the temperature and pressure ranges of these tables. In the determination of the equation of state, all of the P-rho-T (pressure-density-temperature) data available from the published literature were reviewed, and appropriate corrections made to bring experimental temperatures into accord with the International Practical Temperature Scale of 1968. A vapor pressure equation, melting curve equation, and an equation to represent the ideal gas heat capacity of nitrogen are also presented. More Information

...We are adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Airbus Defense and Space S.A. Model C-212 airplanes. This AD was prompted by multiple reports of damaged and cracked rudder torque tube shafts. This AD requires various repetitive inspections, and corrective actions if necessary. This AD also provides a modification which terminates the repetitive inspections. We are issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products. More Information
