HEALTH CARE LAW AVAILABLE ON GPO'S FEDERAL DIGITAL SYSTEM(PDF VERSION OF RELEASE)
WASHINGTON – With provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act going into effect in the next few months, the authentic, digital version of the law can be accessed on GPO's Federal Digital System (FDsys) and print copies can be purchased through GPO's Online Bookstore. The public can learn about open enrollment for health insurance marketplaces that begins on October 1, 2013 and the bulk of provisions that go into effect on January 1, 2014 including consumer protections, tax credits, and the individual mandate. GPO will also work with 1,200 libraries nationwide through the Federal Depository Library Program to have resources on the health care law available to public.
