Inspections

The Inspections Division conducts proactive inspections of GPO programs and operations to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness. These inspections are systematic and independent assessments of the design, implementation, and/or results of GPO's operations programs, or policies. They provide information that is timely, credible, and useful for agency managers, policymakers, and others. The GPO OIG's inspections are performed in accordance with the Quality Standards for Inspection and Evaluation issued by the Council of Inspectors General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE).
