SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for OMB Statistical Programs of the U.S. Government, Fiscal Year 2017

The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has issued a letter to agency Requisition Officers announcing the opportunity to submit rider orders for the OMB Statistical Programs of the U.S. Government, Fiscal Year 2017. We are distributing this information by Circular Letter to help ensure that agencies receive this information in a timely manner.

This report fulfills OMB’s responsibility under the Paperwork Reduction Act to report annually to Congress on the status and budget for each major statistical program. The report provides information on more than 80 agencies that have budgets of $500,000 or more for statistical activities for FY 2015, FY 2016, or FY 2017. Chapter 1 provides an overview of the Federal statistical system and statistical program budgets. Chapter 2 covers principal statistical agency programs. Chapter 3 provides information on Federal statistical programs by agency. Chapter 4 covers statistical standards, interagency groups, and collaborative innovations.

The estimated rider rate is $3.00 per copy, which applies to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.

Send requisitions to GPO by November 18, 2016. Please be sure to indicate GPO jacket No. 399-141 and OMB Requisition Number 7-00005-G7F005 on the SF-1 form. The preferred method of submitting requisitions is to email them to [email protected] with the jacket number in the subject line. If you cannot e-mail requisitions, they may be mailed to Agency Publishing Services, COMSTAT, Stop CSPS, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington DC 20401. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters’ printing officers before submitting any paperwork.
