To become a GPO Contractor you must do the following:

Step 1: Obtain a Unique Entity Identifier

Unique Entity Identifier (formerly DUNS) number is a nine-digit number established to uniquely identify business entities. Visit the Unique Entity Identifier Request Service to register.

Step 2: Register on Contractor Connection

Register your business on GPO’s Contractor Connection system. You will receive an email with a temporary password which will allow you to complete your registration. Vendors may submit bids and proposals without completing this registration. Quotes for Small Purchases are to be submitted using Quick Quote, unless otherwise instructed. You must be registered to access Quick Quote

Step 3: Complete and Submit Required Forms

All forms must be completed, signed, and sent to GPO via email to [email protected] or fax at 202.512.1782.

Step 4: Once the Registration Process is Complete, you will be:

  • issued a Contractor’s Code (GPO I.D. Number)
  • issued a quality level rating (used for evaluating your ability to produce jobs)
  • invited to bid on GPO solicitations based on GPO’s evaluation of the information and product samples you provided
