Government Preservation Excellence: Indiana State Library
The mention of Indianapolis most likely conjures up images of fast cars racing around a track. It probably doesn’t produce visions of innovation in providing and preserving Government information – unless you are the Indiana State Library (ISL). ISL excels in providing and preserving Government information to the public.
The Indiana Light Archive is a collaborative arrangement between ISL, Purdue, Indiana University-Bloomington, and Notre Dame, which together maintain a complete collection of Government documents and improve public access to it. The library also hosts Government Information Day, a conference that promotes Government information sources. The next one is in May 2020.
